Joint head – structure and applications
The ball joints we offer belong to the family of... Plain bearings and, unlike other types, they are distinguished by their lack of rolling elements. Instead, their various individual parts are placed directly on top of each other. Their structure is divided into three perfectly matched components:
- the inner ring
- the bearing shell
- the case
The latter features a threaded shaft, the so-called rod end. Available with either an internal or external thread, our products offer a choice between the common right-hand and left-hand threads.
