This type of shaft seal – specifically, lip seals – is primarily used for sealing shafts within housings. The required seal can be achieved for both stationary and rotating shafts. They can also be used to protect externally rotating shafts from contamination.

This results in minimal friction and a centrifugal effect during operation. It is ideal for guaranteeing secondary sealing tasks, such as protection against splashing water and dirt.

Used in applications such as railways and construction machinery, our axial shaft seals perform these tasks flawlessly. You can choose between two main types: V-rings and Gamma rings. The former is made entirely of a high-quality elastomer, while the latter consists of a high-quality metal ring and an elastomer sealing element.
